Happy Saturday, everyone!
I started my Saturday in the best way, BRUNCH!
I met up with my friend, Christine, who I haven't seen in forever for brunch. We always go to the Cheesecake Factory for cheesecake and drinks but today, brunch was a must! When we go, we always have the same table, a high top table in the bar area. We were basically the first ones there and we looked at each other and booked it to our table. We, of course, got mimosas. It is basically a brunch must to have them.
For food, Christine got an omelet and I went with buttermilk pancakes and bacon, my go to. Man, the food was much needed. It hit the spot. After we were done, we ordered another round of mimosas and just caught up and filled each other in on whats been happening in our lives. It was really the best way to start the Saturday and the weekend. After, we just walked around the mall, the restaurant is attached to a mall, and basically walked off the food and drinks.
When you go to brunch, you need a brunch outfit. And you know that I am all over that. Bacon and mimosas, brunch ootd is very much needed. I thought that my sandals and sweater were a good combo and I dressed in a little causal with the jeans. It was cold and rainy this morning. If it was sunny, I would have maybe worn a dress. I wanted to have a little of a preppy vibe, so I thought the sweater did that. I don't know why, but when I think brunch, I think stripes. As of right now, the sandals and purse are my go to's. I thought to have the sweater be the colorful piece of clothing for my outfit. I just felt like this whole outfit was very brunch causal. A rainy Saturday and a girls day? Got to go the casual route.
Both, Christine and I said to make brunch a monthly thing. Got to have a girls day and just relax and not worry about anything but your food and hanging with your friends. All and all, it was a pretty great Saturday!
