Oh hey everyone! Happy Friday Eve!
Recently, I've been in a fashion funk, that's right. When I have no idea what to wear, I hop on to Pinterest and go to my fashion board. I have fashion bloggers, celebs and random people for fashion inspiration.
Before the farmer's market on Sunday, which I blogged about, I was looking through my closet and had the thought that every girl has. I have nothing to wear, even though I DO have things to wear. I one of those people that wear the same thing over and over. I need to get out of that habit. So, when I don't know what to wear, off to the Pinterest I go. I recently have pinned a few outfits with the peasant/peplum tops. Not too fancy but not to casual. Going through my closet, I found one that I could wear. I put my whole outfit on, and I knew it was the perfect top for a simple Sunday. The pictureo the right is what I came up with. It was the perfect outfit for going to a summer farmer's market.
Farmer's Market #OOTD:
The picture to the left is one of the pictures I had up on my phone and was thinking about recreating. I have no idea who this is but her style is amazing, just saying.
I knew the shirt I had was almost like hers. I had one little question to myself, "Do I wear ripped jeans or plain?" You guys know from my outfit pictures I always wear ripped jeans. I thought the shirt and ripped jeans would look weird. So, I went with the plain. I am so glad I did. For accessories? I knew I was not going to be wearing booties, it was just too hot. Sandals was the way to go. I thought about a long necklace but I wanted to keep my outfit real simple. So I only added earrings and bracelets.
The point of the post? If you have no idea what to wear, look for outfits that have the same type of clothing that you have on Pinterest. I have been pinning for a few years, so I have a lot of pins to go through and I know that the board is my style. I feel like Pinterest fashion inspiration is a little like therapy, retail therapy. You get to "shop" your own closet and try different pieces you wouldn't normally put together. Hope this helps when you are in a fashion funk and have no idea what to wear!
Until the next post!
