New Makeup, Who Dis...?

Recently, Rihanna's makeup brand, Fenty Beauty, released some new products.

I've always been a fan of hers from when she first came out with music, she is up there with Lady Gaga, T Swift and Kesha for me. When she first released her makeup line, I knew I had to get some of those goodies. I got the highlighter and gloss. That was back in 2017, can you believe her line has been out that long? I can't!

Flash forward to now, 2019. The new products are the setting powder and concealer.

I knew I had to get my hands on them. I also got a mini primer and the F$$Y gloss, which is the pinkish color.

My thoughts on the products?

AMAZING as always. First, the packaging is always on point.

I'm going to review the most recent products first.

Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Setting Powder - Butter.

The powder has a matte finish and it almost makes your face photo-shopped and so smooth. The color I got was "Butter, " which I thought would be great for under the eyes and the whole face. It does have a scent to it, but it is not overpowering,; it goes away when you apply it. The ONE thing I do not like about this product? The packaging. I know I said I love it, but when you want to pour the powder in the cap? It gets so messy. So, what I do is that when the cap is still on, I give the product one shake and enough powder comes out to bake under my eyes and to set my whole face.

Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Concealer - 120.

When I first purchased it, I got the wrong color, they look darker online; so if you are online shopping, keep that in mind. I went into the store and swatched two colors. I thought I was getting the shade I have now, but some colors are put together. For example, 110 and 120 were in the same row and I got the 110, which is almost white. I did try that color for about 4 days and I thought it was be okay, but for the days I am not wearing foundation and I just want to wear concealer, it was a no go. 120 is the perfect shade to pair with foundation or to wear alone.

The concealer is supposed to be crease-less, for me? I have line under my eyes so I really have to set it or put eye shadow on my bottom lash line. It is also very creamy and thick, so you do not need a lot. Over all? It is my favorite high end concealer so far! That Is saying a lot.

Mini Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer

I've only used the primer once and let me tell you. I already know I am going to love it. I got the mini size and I feel like it is going to last me a long time because I only use a little.

The claims are from Sephora ....

"A shine-stopping, pore-diffusing primer that smooths the way for better foundation application and longer wear with an instant-retouch effect ... this oil-free primer smooths away the look of pores, visibly evens skin tone and texture, and helps makeup feel comfortable all day. With a lightweight, cushiony texture, the universal Invispink™ formula mattifies skin for a filter-like blurring effect. "

I do feel like it does what it says and that is always good. Once I use it more, I know it will be a favorite and I will write about it more.

Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer - F$$Y.

I already have the first gloss, Fenty Glow, and it was a major favoite of mine that I am almost done with it. Now this new one? I have a feeling it is going to be like Fenty Glow, that I will be using it almost everyday! Any of the glosses are very worth every penny!

Alrightly then, until the next post!
