Beacon Hill - Acorn Street
Everyone knows one of the most famous streets in Boston is Newbury Street, such cute shops, outdoor cafes and the street is just so beautiful all year round. Have you ever wondered what the most photographed street is? Acorn Street in Beacon Hill.
Just think, 1775 and Paul Revere on his horse running on the cobblestone streets yelling “The British are coming” and you are back in time. Yes, the cobblestone streets are still there and oh my goodness, it is so hard to walk in the middle of the street. I almost fell on my face while taking pictures WHILE a tour was behind my friend taking the pictures.
There are mini sidewalks that you can walk on. But, for the pictures? You got to be in the middle of the street. DO NOT WORRY, no cars will be driving down, I can tell you that. I just worry about the winter time and the snow. Everyone knows that New England winters are the worst. In the spring and summer months, it is so beautiful. The brownstones have flower-boxes out with the most colorful selection of flowers.
Wondering how I discovered it? I follow fellow Boston bloggers on Instagram and they tag the street where they do photo shoots . I just didn't know where it was. While a friend and I were just exploring Beacon Hill after coffee, we always coffee shop hop. She mentioned the street and looked it up on her phone and we weren't to far from it.. As we were getting closer, we see a bunch a people near one street and we looked at each other and thought, "Yup, that's it." Of course we had to double check and it was the famous Acorn Street. So, naturally we had a mini photo shoot. Nothing fancy, we always use our iPhones to take the pictures. I was already a little dressy because we just went to the “You do You” event I blogged about. I was so happy how the pictures came out! I have to give credit to one of my best friends, Lauree. She’s amazing at photography, and I just edit the pictures.

We plan on going even more this summer and even in the fall. Can you imagine the street in the fall? Boston in general is beautiful, but it is has it different types of beautiful during each season (fall is my favorite and I am so lucky that I can get on a train and experience it in real life.) Hope you enjoyed this post and whenever you’re in Boston, Acorn Street needs to be on your to do list
Until the next post!
